Image
What is it? A control valve is a device which is power-operated practically used to manipulate or regulate the flow of fluids, such as oil, gas, steam & water. Being a critical part of the control loop, it is an example of a final control element. The Control Valves are one of the most preferred final control elements in the various industries. Why is it used? Usually, the processing plants con s ist of thousands, of control loops that are all connected together to manufacture a product that is to be sold. Every control loop is designed and planned to maintain important procedures such as flow, pressure, temperature, level, etc. within a particular operating range that is required to ensure the quality of the end product. How does it function? The actuator one of the main devices in the valve which is connected to the valve through the stem that provides the force which is required to move the valve. Control valves can be operated pneumatically, electrically or hydraulically. It re
